Grosse Pointe Club Private Events

PRIVATE FUNCTIONS

Members may request the private use of areas of the Clubhouse to accommodate private, civic, charitable or business functions. This request must be made in writing to the General Manager, and to the Board of Governors. If the number of participants exceeds seventy-five persons, a written request must be addressed to the General Manager for approval by the Board of Governors. A member who sponsors a private function is expected to be in attendance at that function.

  

WEDDINGS

Members may also request the private use of areas of the Clubhouse to accommodate weddings and everything that goes into planning a wedding. There are wedding packages available that handle everything from invitations, valet, rehearsals as well as the event, if desired. When requesting a date please give at least three months notice to the Club. For any questions please contact Mr. Justin Jones. A member who sponsors a private function is expected to be in attendance at that function.

  1. All Private Parties and Club Events are Subject to 20% service charge that is taxed by 6%.
  2. The Club is open to all your "party" events.
  3. If you need it on a Monday or Tuesday when the Club is typically closed - we can make arrangements for your Memorial Services or Corporate Parties.
  4. Please note: you will be charged "staff labor" as it is considered to be the kitchen, waitstaff, housekeeping, valet and any other union employee contacted to serve you in the appropriate manner.
